MEC’s Vision

Horse Riding for all ages, shapes and sizes, beginners to advanced. MEC a place where the hobbie and competitive rider can be at Home. A place where all your special needs will be met and where happiness and love will be found!

About MEC

MEC started in 2003 with only 2 horses and 5 riders and we currently stand on 86 riders and 24 horses! At MEC we believe in giving you and your horse the personal attention and effort required to make your horse, rider and instructor relationship with us, the best you will ever experience!

Our Stable Master, Owner and instructor, Letitia Venter, has been riding since she was 8 years old, and started MEC with just two riding school horses when she was 17. As such you can rest assured that when you ride with us, you have years of experience and know how supporting you.

The class of riders we produce speak for itself, as we are proud to have riding with us, 10 riders that have their Gauteng colours in Western Mounted Games, 3 Riders that have their Gauteng North colours in jumping and 1 rider that has her Gauteng colours in Jumping.

MEC had 19 riders that we took to Western Mounted Games Nationals in 2017 – as part of the Gauteng team and 5 SANESA Jumpers that made it to the Gauteng North Team. We are exceptionally proud of this achievement!

We are one of the very few riding schools left where you can just ride for the fun, and for social activities and don’t need to compete if you don’t want to! You are able to take our horses to shows and children can compete in SANESA school leagues with our horses.

Once you have experienced MEC, everything else will pale in comparison.
